Ford Ironman St. George is an Ultra distance triathlon consisting of:
2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run.

- ATHLETES ENTER AT SOUTH END OF PARKING LOT AND STAGE TO START LINE
- UPON STARTING, SWIM SOUTH TO LEFT TURN
- GO EAST TO LEFT TURN
- GO NORTH TO LEFT TURN
- GO WEST TO FINISH ON BOAT RAMP

- Turn Right on Sand Hollow Rd
- Turn Left on SR9 (at 3700 West) (4.5 Miles)
- Turn Left on Telegraph
- Turn Right on Washington Pkwy
- Turn Left on Buena Vista Blvd
- Turn Right on Cactus Ln
- Turn Left on Green Springs Drive
- Turn Right on East Red Hills Pkwy
- Start of 1st Loop: Red Hills Pkwy turns into Snow Canyon Pkwy as you cross Bluff St. (Hwy 18)
- Turn Left on 1300 West
NO PASS ZONE (1/3 Mile)
- Turn Right at Primrose Circle onto Bike Path
- Go North on bike path under Snow Canyon Parkway
- After going through the tunnel Turn Right on Bike Path
- Merge back onto Snow Canyon Parkway
END NO PASS ZONE
- Turn Left on 2000 North
- Turns into Pioneer Parkway
- Turn Right on 400 East
- Turn Left on 400 South
- Turn Right on Hwy 91
- Turn Right on Cr-3184 (to Gunlock)
- Turn Right on U18
- Turn Right at Snow Canyon Parkway (Start of Second Loop)
- Turn Left on 2000 North
- Turns into Pioneer Parkway
- Turn Right on 400 East
- Turn Left on 400 South
- Turn Right on Hwy 91
- Turn Right on Cr-3184 (to Gunlock)
- Turn Right on U18
- Turn Right on Snow Canyon Pkwy (completing 2nd Loop)
- To Finish
NO PASS ZONE (1/3 Mile)
- Turn Right onto bike trail at Sonoran Dr (.3 miles W of U18)
- Follow trail under Snow Canyon pkwy
- Turn Left on 1300 West
END NO PASS ZONE
- Turn Right on Snow Canyon Parkway
- Turn Right on U18 (Bluff Street)
- Turn Left on Diagonal
- Turn Right on Main
- Turn Right on Tabernacle
- Turn Left at 150 West into Transition Area
On race day, cyclists will be in the far south lane, traveling westbound in the eastbound traffic lane, so athletes will not have to cross any medians. Since cyclists cannot ride that way normally, they should not use the tunnel during training on the first loop.
